Scribe’s Cave Picture Prompt #67

Hello Cavelings! I know, I know – she’s been a terrible hostess, hasn’t she, the Cave Mistress? A week was promised, yet four have passed. Or so.

In that time, there have been illnesses in the household, trips to hospital, tons of prayers, and not much sleep. Hence, the lack of posts.

But now she’s back.

This next set of prompts comes courtesy of Shane Thoms, whose photographs of interesting places is amazing! At present, the plan is to visit each of the sections of his site and work through the images therein, so strap on your travel pack and let’s get going.

The tour of interesting places begins in Ordos. Time Magazine suggests that Ordos, and Kangbashi in particular,  was built for about one million people and has remained empty since the project began. Shane found life as he toured the world’s largest ghost town as you will see in some of the photos for the coming weeks.

This week, we visit Kangbashi’s Linyinlu Square. Tell us a story about this space.
