Happy All Hallow’s Week, for those of you who celebrate. Here’s a quick little tale to get you in the mood:
Once upon a time there was a young girl who had flat feet; her parents, desiring that their child not go through life with asundered lower appendages, decided to take her to an expert in the field. Or so it was said. This so-called expert in bipedal locomotion was unable to walk himself; further, the limb with which he examined the girl’s feet looked frighteningly similar to the item offered in this week’s prompt. Except it had strings through the joints, with which its owner could adjust the location of each digit.
Do your worst, Cavelings!
